1918 WWI Commemorative Mug, Jackson & Gosling Grosvenor China

A ceramic mug commemorating victory in the First World War, dated 1918. The design shows the flags of the Allied nations — Britain, France, Belgium, the USA, Italy and Japan — set around a laurel wreath enclosing the Statue of Liberty, with the banners "Victory of Justice" and "Might in the Right Cause Has Prevailed". Made by Jackson & Gosling for their Grosvenor China range, Longton, England, and marked to the base "Ye Olde English Grosvenor China".
