1940s Toulet Imperator pigeon racing timer in wooden box – £60
A fascinating piece of sporting history — an original 1940s Toulet Imperator pigeon racing timer.
Housed in its dovetail-jointed wooden box with a stitched leather handle and glass viewing window, this clock was used to record racing pigeon times with precision and integrity.
The interior still holds its 1970s paper charts and certification labels dated 1972 and 1983, confirming official testing and regulation compliance. The polished metal clock mechanism is beautifully engineered and stamped S & A Pigeon Supplies Ltd, Birmingham.
Everything appears intact, but the timer hasn’t been tested, so it’s sold as a decorative collectible. A wonderful display piece for pigeon racing enthusiasts or lovers of vintage scientific instruments.
