Vintage Poet-Laval amphora pottery vase

This is an unusual abstract flower motif amphora shaped pottery vase. Marked V36 H22 on the base. Made in Le Poet-Laval in the South of France in the 1970's. 22cm high. In excellent condition. The glaze on the outside of the vase is an earthy red colour, and the flower is coloured in green, black and white. The inside of the vase has a shiny black glaze. 

On the front of the vase, towards the base, there is a small patch of silver colour. This appears to be a glazing defect. It really doesn't detract from the great vintage look of this unusual vase.
