A striking 1970s Sofono Spacemaster electric heater in brilliant red and yellow with chrome trim and splayed metal legs – a classic of mid-century British design. With its bold circular shape and sleek Space Age styling, it’s as much a sculptural statement piece as it is a functional heater.

 

This model, produced by Sofono, captures the futuristic optimism of the era with its distinctive round drum form and contrasting colours. It’s in great overall condition, with just one small patch of colour loss on the red face (shown in photos). The heater powers on but would need rewiring and PAT testing before being used as a working appliance.

 

An iconic and highly collectable piece of mid-century design — perfect for a vintage interior, display, or as a retro prop.
