Antique WMF Art Nouveau Metal Candlestick – Germany, c.1910

A beautiful example of early 20th-century German craftsmanship, this small Art Nouveau candlestick was made by the renowned WMF (Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik) around 1910. Standing at 15cm tall with a 7cm x 7cm base, it features elegant architectural lines and classic period detailing including raised Celtic-style motifs on the stem and sconce.

Crafted in a silvery metal typical of WMF’s Jugendstil designs, it bears the impressed WMF mark (as shown). A small area of damage is present (see photos), but this does not detract from its striking appearance or decorative appeal.

A lovely piece for collectors of antique metalware, Art Nouveau decor, or German design history.
