Art Deco Ditmar Urbach Czech Pottery Vase with Twin Handles – Hand Painted – c.1930s

    Unit price per

A striking Art Deco pottery vase by Ditmar Urbach, hand-painted and made in Czechoslovakia. This distinctive piece features a softly rounded form with applied twin handles and a beautifully textured turquoise ground, decorated with stylised foliage and fruit motifs in rich green, brown and yellow tones.

The organic design reflects the transition between late Art Nouveau influences and early Art Deco aesthetics, typical of Ditmar Urbach’s decorative ceramics produced during the interwar period. The subtle mottled glaze and hand-painted detailing give the piece a lively surface and strong decorative presence.

Equally suited as a standalone display object or functional vase, this is a characterful example of early 20th-century Czech pottery.
