Art Nouveau Enamel & Brass Nurse Buckle – Victorian Two-Part Buckle

A beautiful Art Nouveau two-part belt buckle, made in brass and richly enamelled in deep blues, reds, pinks and greens. The flowing scrollwork and stylised flowers are classic late-19th-century design, full of movement and colour.

The brass has a lovely aged sheen, and the enamelling still shows fine, vibrant tones, with a few tiny losses that sit naturally with age. The clasp works smoothly and both pieces meet cleanly.
