Dartington Crystal Cranberry Glass Vase — Large Format, 28cm, Mint Condition

A large and striking cranberry glass vase by Dartington Crystal, standing 28cm tall in mint, unlabelled condition with the original brand sticker intact.
The vase features a cylindrical form that tapers slightly toward the rim, with a deeply saturated ruby-cranberry body and an optical ribbed surface that catches and refracts light beautifully. The base transitions to clear crystal, adding visual weight and contrast. The overall effect — rich colour, exceptional clarity, strong form — is characteristic of Dartington at its best.
Dartington was founded in 1966 in Devon, England, with staff trained by skilled glassblowers from Kosta and Orrefors, and was renamed Dartington Crystal in 1987. The company quickly became synonymous with high-quality, innovative glass design, bringing together traditional techniques and contemporary aesthetics.
