Edinburgh Crystal Whisky Glass — Cut & Etched Thistle Pattern, Scotland, 8cm

A fine Edinburgh Crystal whisky tumbler in the maker’s celebrated Thistle pattern — a hand-cut and acid-etched design combining a deep diamond-cut base with a finely detailed etched thistle motif, Scotland’s national flower, around the bowl. The glass flares gently from a bulbous, diamond-cut lower body to a plain-cut rim, with a faceted star cut to the base that catches the light beautifully. Edinburgh Crystal was one of Scotland’s foremost makers of fine lead crystal, and the Thistle pattern remains one of their most recognisable and sought-after designs. Stands 8cm high — a substantial, generously weighted glass ideal for whisky or as a collector’s piece.
