Edwardian Mahogany Mirror, Originally from a Wardrobe Door, c.1900–1920
A substantial Edwardian mirror, beautifully framed in solid mahogany with its original thick plate glass. This piece was most likely removed from a wardrobe or dressing chest and later adapted for wall hanging with brass fittings.
The mahogany frame has developed a rich, warm patina over more than a century, while the backboards are pine, typical of early 20th-century cabinetmaking. It’s a heavy, well-made mirror with lovely proportions and quiet character — ideal for a hallway, bedroom, or dressing area.
