This striking porcelain vase was produced in 1985 by the Baranovka Porcelain Factory in the Soviet Union to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the end of the Second World War.

 

The decoration features the “Order of Victory” medal in red, gold and enamel detail, flanked by the dates 1945–1985. Its bold colours and patriotic imagery make it a powerful example of late Soviet commemorative art.

 

The vase stands 26.5cm tall with a 14.5cm top diameter. It is in excellent condition, with vibrant decoration and no chips or cracks.
