Graceful porcelain figurine titled “Northern Girl with Flower” (often called Yakut Girl), made by the Lomonosov Porcelain Factory, St Petersburg, after 1991. This elegant piece depicts a Yakut girl in traditional winter dress, holding a small flower and book.

Finely modelled and beautifully hand-painted, with delicate facial detail and subtle shading in the fur collar and dress trim.

A wonderful example of post-Soviet Lomonosov craftsmanship, continuing the tradition of depicting the diverse cultures of the Russian North.
