Mid- Century Chodovia Domazlice Prague Wall Plaque – 1960s Czech Pottery

A stunning vintage glazed terracotta wall plaque, crafted in the 1960s at the renowned Chodovia Domazlice pottery in Czechoslovakia.

Features an incised line decoration of the Prague skyline, showcasing a charming array of churches, rooftops, and the word “Praha” (Prague) elegantly picked out across the tile.

The design is beautifully glazed over a white background, with hand-applied shades of green, blue, grey, and ochre.

Retains its original maker’s sticker on the back, adding to its authenticity and collectability.

Measures 43cm x 12cm and 1.5cm thick. A hanging wire is threaded through two holes on the back, making it ready for wall display.

In great vintage condition, with just one very small chip (as pictured), but still presents beautifully.

This is a rare and highly collectible mid-century Czech ceramic plaque, perfect for lovers of vintage European design, Brutalist ceramics, or Prague memorabilia.
