This is a beautiful piece of design and craftmanship dating back to the 1960's. This vintage glazed terracotta decorative tile/slab was made at the Chodovia Domazlice pottery in Czechoslovakia in the 1960's. It has an incised line decoration depicting the Prague skyline with a series of churches and rooftops, and the word Praha (Prague) picked out across the tile. The terracotta tile has been glazed with a white background, decorated in shades of green, blue, grey and ochre. It measures 43cm x 12cm, and 1.5cm thick. There is a hanging wire threaded through two holes on the back for hanging on the wall.

The tile has its original maker's sticker on the back.

There is one very small chip as shown but overall is in great condition and looks stunning.
