This original 1980s metal figurine depicts Misha, the mascot of the 1980 Moscow Olympic Games (the XXII Summer Olympics). Standing 12cm high, the figure is finished in a bronze-coloured metallic surface, giving it a strong display presence.

 

Misha was designed by celebrated children’s book illustrator Victor Chizhikov, whose friendly bear character became one of the most memorable Olympic mascots of the 20th century.
