A delightful pair of tiny mid-century West German pottery vases, each standing at just 7.5cm tall. Their bulbous form with small handles is finished in a striking glossy glaze of fiery red, orange, and black — a classic “Fat Lava” inspired finish.

 

Though the makers’ marks are indistinct, these little vases are unmistakably West German, dating from the mid-20th century. Perfect as decorative accents, for collectors of miniature ceramics, or as thoughtful vintage gifts.
