A striking vintage Quarz M 8mm cine camera, made by KMZ (Krasnogorsk Mechanical Factory) near Moscow during the 1960s–70s. This sturdy, mechanical camera runs entirely by clockwork and was part of the well-known Quarz series — designed for reliability and simplicity in amateur filmmaking.

 

The design features a textured black metal body with chrome trim, giving it a satisfyingly solid feel. A wonderful example of Soviet-era industrial design, it’s a fascinating piece for collectors of vintage cameras or Cold War–era technology.
