Schuco No. 1001 Patent Reversible Sedan | Vintage Pre-War Clockwork Toy

A wonderful pre-war example of Schuco's classic "Patent" reversible clockwork sedan, No. 1001, finished in bright red with a streamlined art deco body, opening rear roof slot, and the iconic cast "SCHUCO PATENT" grille badge and bumper. The wind-up clockwork mechanism gives the car its famous reversible action, a hallmark of Schuco's engineering from this era, and the tinplate carries lovely, honest patina consistent with genuine pre-war age.
