Stunning 1970’s Dumler and Breiden amphora vase

This amphora shaped vase with striking decoration was made in the 1970's by Dumler and Breiden, great exponents of West German Art pottery. Standing approximately 26cm high, it features an organic speckled and lined background in shades of brown and grey, looking perhaps like a sandy or earthy landscape. This is decorated by repeating patterns of vibrant red surrounded by deep brown, that could be described as tribal or maybe space age depending on which way your imagination takes you. On the base of the vase is imprinted the Dumler and Breiden logo of an interlocked symbol containing DB, the word Germany, and an indistinct form and size number. This item is in lovely condition with no damage or repairs.
