Victorian JB Bennett Silver Cheroot Holder with Case, Chester Hallmarks

A late Victorian JB Bennett cigar or cheroot holder, complete with its original fitted case. Beautifully made with a polished amber-coloured mouthpiece and glossy black stem, both finished with a finely engraved silver collar. The piece carries clear Chester hallmarks plus the JB Bennett maker’s mark and the firm’s distinctive “unsmiling” trademark.

The holder has a 12 mm opening and measures approximately 19 cm in length. The original leather case shows wear but still protects it nicely. A lovely example for collectors of antique smoking accessories or Victorian silver.
