Vintage 1950s Hornby Dublo Electric Train Set – Boxed Goods Set by Meccano Ltd

A wonderfully preserved 1950s Hornby Dublo Electric Train Set, made in England by Meccano Ltd. This is the classic goods set, complete with one locomotive, four goods wagons, and a generous run of original three-rail track.

The set includes:

• 1 x 69550 tank locomotive – crisp detailing and lovely paintwork
• 4 x goods wagons – Royal Daylight tanker, open wagon, covered van, and brake van
• 13 x track pieces – 8 curved + 5 straight, all original three-rail sections
• Housed in its original blue lift-off box with illustrated lid

Condition is lovely throughout. The track and rolling stock are clean with only light age wear, and the locomotive retains its bright lining and numbering. The box shows a little rubbing and edge wear, as expected for its age, but remains sturdy and displays beautifully.

A brilliant display piece or a fine addition for any Hornby Dublo or vintage railway collector.
