Vintage Cut Glass Scent Bottle with Birmingham Sterling Silver Collar, 1929
This charming little cut glass bottle is finished with a sterling silver collar, hallmarked in Birmingham in 1929. The silver shows the maker’s mark A.G. for Albert George Styles, the lion passant for sterling, the Birmingham anchor, and the elegant date letter “E”, confirming the exact year.
Measuring around 10cm tall including its original glass stopper, the bottle has a faceted body that sparkles beautifully when it catches the light. The silver collar has a gentle patina that adds to its vintage character.
Originally made as a perfume or dressing table bottle, it’s now a lovely decorative piece in its own right – perfect for adding a touch of 1920s elegance to a collection, or as a thoughtful gift for anyone who loves authentic silver and glass.
A genuine piece of English craftsmanship from the late 1920s – full of charm, history and character.
