A brilliant vintage wooden beer crate from Ringnes, Norway’s best-known brewery. Stamped on all four sides with bold black lettering – “Ringnes Norwegian Pilsner” – and dated 5-69, this box was used for transporting bottles back in the day.

 

Crafted from solid wood with original wire stitching and a lovely aged patina. Stamped with a British maker’s mark from Jonathan Grant & Co Ltd, Castle Cary, Somerset – who clearly made these crates for export.

 

A fantastic piece of beer history that also makes a stylish storage box, display piece, or prop for a bar or kitchen.

 

Condition:

Very good vintage condition. Scuffs, fading and wear as expected for its age.
