Vintage Treasure Oval Alarm Clock – 1970s Retro Chrome – Made in China – Working

A brilliant little retro alarm clock from the 1970s — the Treasure brand oval alarm clock, Made in China, in a polished chrome-effect oval case with a wonderfully characterful face. Bold Arabic numerals, luminous green-tipped hands, a vivid red seconds hand and red alarm hand give it that unmistakeable 1970s personality. The dial is marked Treasure with the brand’s distinctive red flower logo, and Made in China at the base.
The case is a satisfying flattened oval in brushed and polished metal, raised on a splayed chrome foot — effortlessly cool and very of its era. The rear shows the full mechanical layout with alarm, time-set and hand-wind controls. It is in working order.
Clocks like this were produced in large numbers in China during the 1970s for both domestic and export markets, and they are now genuinely collectable — a fantastic desk, bedside or display piece.
