Unmarked to the base (as is common with this pottery — most pieces left the factory with only a paper label, which rarely survives), but the glaze recipe and mold form are consistent with West German makers such as Scheurich, Bay Keramik, or ES Keramik.

 

Condition: Vintage, sold as seen. One small chip to the glaze on the underside of the rim, and one small production flaw (present since firing) — both pictured clearly. No cracks, no repairs, no marks or numbers to base. A characterful piece with genuine age.

Would look wonderful as a standalone statement piece or grouped with other fat lava vases for a bold retro shelf display.
