Antique WW1 Welch Regiment Officers’ Swagger Stick – 69cm
A characterful WW1 British Army swagger stick, attributed to an officer of the Welch Regiment. Made from polished cane with a silvered metal pommel and brass tip, it measures 69cm long.
The pommel is embossed with the Welch Regiment’s crest – featuring the Prince of Wales’s feathers, coronet, and motto “Ich Dien”. These sticks were carried as part of an officer’s dress, symbolising authority and pride in their regiment.
A lovely piece of early 20th-century militaria with real presence – ideal for collectors, displays, or anyone with an interest in British military history.
Condition:
Good vintage condition overall. Dents to the pommel consistent with age and use.
